I recently ran into an issue with someone who had trouble with a blog post he was using the Revolution Blog Theme Office and his current post was getting a lot of traffic from stumble/digg/reddit and other social sites. When I went to comment, his form had shut down, he had 4 previous comments, but it simply was non-existent.

We searched all through his settings and everything was as it should be, but the comment form was not present, only on this single post. The other posts were not affected, so it led me to belive there was an issue with just this post.

We found a quick and easy solution to his trouble, and reposted it with all the links/diggs/stumbles in tact – please feel free to contact us for the solution.

How to start and create a blog – there are many free services out there, but they lack the flexibility to continue to create and build onto your site. WordPress.com and Blogspot are among the popular platforms.

I created my first blog using wordpress.com and I suggest that
if you are going to blog for any sort of professional organization, it is a must to get your own domain and hosting package set up. It is against wordpress.com’s policies to use it for commercial blogging.

Blogging becomes an addiction, and you catch the bug when you first start seeing visitors to your site. A well designed and optimized blog will push your site up in the rankings of Google and other search engines. If you opt for the free platforms, you may be limiting yourself as your blog grows, once you begin establishing links into the your blog through the free sites, you will not be able to carry the link juice over if you opt to get your own domain & hosting.

Creating a blog should begin with a domain name, we use the following domain suggestion tool as well as a keyword rich domain suggestion tool. You are able to see which domains are available with and establish a keyword rich url for your site.

There are a variety of hosting companies to choose from when it comes to your website and blogs. I recommend either of the following companies.

GoDaddy.com Hosting Plans

Hawk Host

Domains & Hosting Reviews has a line up of user feedback for a variety of companies.

I am not going to blog.
How dare you ask me to blog.
That sounds ridiculous…blogging

A blog is something everyone should have, whether you are blogging for personal reasons, or blogging for a company, it’s where you can write your words, the words and who can blog better about a subject than those that are closest to it. You… You need a blog.

Why? Because it is a relaxed environment that your customers can come to find information, interact and communicate with you in a more relaxed environment, it’s a place where you can be yourself, as an employee, a vendor or as an innocent bystander. It’s a place were we can come to shed the tie of corporate life and begin to know our vendors, customers and co-workers.

Why is this such a different concept? It’s an online journal of experience, it’s authority of a subject, so if you know something about something, we can help you get noticed and set up your blog. It is not a willy nilly process, it’s again a dedicated structure of putting your keywords to use to get you noticed.
